FAQ

What does a private chef experience include?

A complete in‑home dining experience — menu planning, sourcing, preparation, service, and full kitchen cleanup. You enjoy the meal and your guests; I handle everything else.

---

Where do you cook?

I primarily work out of private homes, luxury Airbnbs, and boutique accommodations throughout the Finger Lakes.

---

How far in advance should we book?

For best availability, I recommend booking 2–4 months in advance. Peak seasons (summer, fall foliage, holidays) often fill faster.

Last‑minute requests are welcome when availability allows.

---

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes. I regularly cook for vegetarian, vegan, gluten‑free, and allergy‑aware menus. Please share any restrictions during booking so accommodations can be made comfortably and safely.

---

Do you offer wine pairings?

Yes. I specialize in thoughtful pairings with an emphasis on Finger Lakes wines.

---

What is the minimum guest count or spend?

Events are subject to a minimum spend depending on date, menu style, and location. Tasting menus and peak dates carry higher minimums.

Specific pricing is shared during inquiry to ensure clarity upfront.

---

How long does the experience last?

Most dinners last 2.5–3 hours, depending on menu style and pace.

---

What do you need from the kitchen?

A clean, functional kitchen with standard cooking equipment. If anything additional is required, it will be discussed in advance. I adapt easily to most home kitchens.

---

Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is not included and is always appreciated, but never required.

---

How do we book?

Submit an inquiry through the website with your date, location, guest count, and general vision. You’ll receive a prompt response with availability, menu direction, and next steps.

---

What makes your service different?

Seasonal cooking, local sourcing, refined execution, and a calm, professional presence. My goal is to deliver restaurant‑level dining in a relaxed, private setting — without the noise.
